Middle Path Counseling | Modern Therapy for Every Stage of Life

EXPERIENCING YOUR BEST LIFE STARTS HERE

We give you the what and the how to feel better from the first session with actionable steps tailored to your needs.

Hello! I am Jacqueline Pollner.

Founder of Middle Path Counseling

I started Middle Path Counseling with a passion for helping others learn how to live the life they've always wanted. Over the years, I have heard one consistent theme from my clients, "no one ever taught me the concrete steps on how to make the change."

That is why I've made it my mission to make therapy a place you can go to learn how to be the CEO of your life with a straightforward "how-to" manual for your brain. No psychobabble here! I've teamed up with authentic, like-minded, and compassionate therapists who will provide you with the skills to find your how-to and take control of your life!

The life you've always dreamed of starts here today.

Our Services

We provide services for an array of needs and work with our clients through major life changes. We know therapy is not one-size-fits-all and we don’t treat it as such. We take a personalized and evidence-based approach to help you navigate through current and future challenges so you can live better.

  • Couples may seek psychotherapy for a variety of reasons, which may include: difficulties in communication, intimacy, post affair recovery, parenting, phase of life challenges, blended family or in-law conflict, or coping with mental or physical health conditions.

  • Whether you’re facing a major life event, are struggling with a negative long-term pattern, or want to prioritize your mental health, you’re in the right place. We are experts in a variety of approaches to help you start living your most fulfilling life.

  • Family dynamics can be complex and challenging, and they deeply shape who you are starting from childhood. We’ll work through emotional challenges, and negative patterns, and break the cycle to start communicating more effectively and feel in control of your emotions.

  • Children and adolescents have unique needs in life, and their therapy needs to match those needs. We use evidence-based practices with a special twist for children since they have more playful approaches while still learning concrete skills. We also require parents or guardians to be present so you know how to best help with your child’s growth. Let’s get your child back to their happiest self.

  • Solution-focused therapy takes a goal-focused, evidence-based approach that focuses on solutions to a problem. We know when someone understands their symptoms and the tools they can utilize to overcome them, they’re more likely to overcome it. You’ll learn your signs, symptoms, triggers, and vulnerabilities, and know what to do about them to live a happier, better life.

  • Our practice is built on modern approaches and that means giving you the tools to cope outside the therapy room. With CBT you gain the skills and coping mechanisms to observe your feelings and know what strategies to put in place to handle them. This is where you take back power from your negative thoughts and behaviors, and replace them with truths.
