Eating Disorders

Specialized, collaborative and evidence based care is important when treating these disorders. Eating Disorders treated may include; Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), or any disordered eating that feels uncomfortable and disruptive in ones life.

Anxiety Disorders

Anxiety is something all of us experience and is a healthy part of our emotional system. However, there are times when anxiety becomes problematic and can block us from engaging in life in fun and meaningful ways.

Depression and Mood Disorders

Depression and other mood disorders are often disruptive in your life and can be challenging to cope with. We provide a skills based approach that focuses on your strengths. Therapy approaches may include Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic, or Family Therapy.

Couples Therapy

Couples enter therapy for many reasons and at varied stages of their relationship. When first meeting with a couple, we spend time assessing the history and goals for the relationship. From there, we will decide together on a plan that matches the intent for therapy. Approaches include Solution Focused Therapy for Couples, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Couples, Imago therapy, trauma sensitive therapy for couples, or Discernment counseling.

Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I)

When we struggle with night after night of sleeplessness, multiple periods of waking and restlessness our sophisticated functioning declines quickly. We see impacts in many other areas of our lives. Fortunately, there is an evidence based therapy that is brief and effective.

CBT-I focuses on changing sleep thoughts and behaviors, looking at your lifestyle habits to improve sleep and teaching you valuable relaxation techniques. CBT-I is beneficial for individuals with problems falling asleep or waking during the night and individuals who wish to reduce or eliminate sleep medications.

Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)

Taking the first step to confront a traumatic time in your life isn't easy. Naturally, we want to avoid painful thoughts and feelings, not walk towards them. With the use of CPT you are able to work alongside your therapist to approach the thoughts, feelings and behaviors associated with your trauma and take control of your healing.

CPT is a 12 week evidence based program that gets right to work teaching you how to confront your stuck points that prevent you from healing, examine emotions, thoughts and behaviors, and step into new alternative thoughts that promote longterm healing.
